RADCOM Ltd. (Nasdaq: RDCM ), a leading network test and quality management solutions provider, today announced that Dobson Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:DCEL) has purchased Cellular Performer systems to gain comprehensive visibility into its GPRS network. Dobson Communications is a leading provider of wireless phone services to rural markets in the United States. Headquartered in Oklahoma City, the Company owns wireless operations in 16 states, serving 1.6 million customers.
The systems purchased include multi-interface GPRS Consultants as well as Network Consultant applications. The Cellular Performer's correlated Consultants, port density and time synchronization capabilities combine to facilitate Dobson's roll-out and subsequent operation of GPRS services. The Cellular Performer accelerates troubleshooting of Quality of Service (QoS) related issues including cell site congestion, data path performance, individual subscriber quality of experience and interoperability with roaming partners.
